Photo - Allie DuellmanHello and Welcome to Fourth Grade!

I have been teaching at Somerset since 2015 and I am absolutely thrilled to be apart of the fourth grade team. I started out my journey as an educator when I graduated from Bemidji State in 2014 with a degree in Elementary Education and Preprimary Education and also a minor in Spanish. As an educator I was fortunate enough to teach in many different grade levels. I did my student teaching in a kindergarten, preschool, and a 5/6 classroom. I was very lucky to be able to student teach in both Bemidji, MN and Melbourne, Australia. In Spring of 2015, I was able to teach kindergarten as a long term substitute in North St. Paul, before becoming a full time teacher at Somerset Elementary.

Beyond teaching, I love to play hockey, travel, and spend time with my family and friends. I've been able to live in two different countries (Argentina and Australia) and I've been to over half of the United States. Throughout college I was a hockey player and I have been the head coach of the Henry Sibley Girls Hockey team since 2015. Go Warriors! I love spending time with my niece and my nephew. We like to go to the zoo, read stories, and try out new parks all over the twin cities.

I welcome and value your interest in our classroom. Please feel free to contact me throughout the year with any questions or comments. I'm looking forward to a great year of learning!
