Parent Family Group (PFG)
The Somerset Parent Family Group (PFG) is a non-profit entity organized by volunteer parents to enrich the education and well-being of students at Somerset and to foster strong, supportive relationships among the school, families, and the surrounding community.
If you are looking for the PTA/PTO/Booster Club, we are it!

- Read-A-Thon: encouraging students to read while also raising funds to support several programs and initiatives throughout the school year
- Teacher Grants: Full list on the website
- Somerset Social: our biggest fundraiser of the year and a super fun adult only party!
- Transportation for class field trips
- Classroom and library materials

It’s a proven fact that children learn and achieve more in school when families, educators, and the community work together to enhance education. There are several different ways to become involved in the PFG from simply attending a meeting to being the chair of an event. No matter what involvement level you choose, we would love to have you!
MEETINGS
PFG meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the days listed below in the Somerset Media Center. Meetings are open to all Somerset parents and guardians. Free childcare is provided for children 4+ who are fully potty trained.
